We Are Frightened Rabbit

The Frightened Rabbit was formed when Scott Hutchison from Selkirk, Scotland was playing solos in the year 2003. His brother Grant Hutchison joined in with the drums in the year 2004. The guitarist Bill Kennedy joined in with his drumming in the year 2006. By the year 2008 three others joined the band by the name of Bill Kennedy, Andy Monghan and Gordon Skene. This was transformed into a whole band. They offered their e-mail address to anyone who would want it to promote their music. They would give them a free demo. Since not many demos were requested, Scott had to come up with a gimmick. He offered to send biscuits with all his demos. It was kind of a joke because his biscuits turned into crumbs by the time his demos arrived in the United States. However, it did create attention for his music.

This band came with it’s first album in 2006 called, “Sing the Grays”. It was on the label of, “Hits the Fans”. From this point forward they traveled and toured in the United States and became well know for their music. Frightened Rabbit has joined in with doing work with “Invisible Children” a good cause.
